Taking a walk is so important. Every time I get home, my mind is clearer and I’m more motivated to do stuff. So if you feel drained, just take a walk, feel the air and free your mind.

So I’m turning 17 tomorrow and I’m just getting really emotional bc I always had the feeling that as soon as you’re 17 you’re doing a massive step away from childhood. Idk if this makes sense but … whatever. These are the lessons I got.
1. Feel confident and stay positive. People will feel when you’re comfortable and just automatically be more happy and kind around you.
2. Have courage to help friends in relationships. Even if that means that you got to bring them to finally break up. I never was a person who wanted to judge peoples relationships, but sometimes thats just what you need to do! You actually do know your friends the best and when you see that a relationship isn’t doing good to both of the people, just have the courage to tell them so !
3. Talk. Talk about the way you feel and the things you think about. It will help your emotional confidence and will bring up so many great conversations and late night talks with people you would have never expected to think the same way as you.
4. Work for your dreams. The more days you don’t, the more days you will regret. And it will, as well, satisfy you in a way. Even if you’re way till the finish line is still a long one to go.(like the one between me and my perfect british english)
5. You actually CAN be the person you want to be. Just start to change your behavior. I always wanted to be more kind and respectful, so I just tried,…and it worked! Sometimes I’m still scared that I just did hurt a friend but I’m getting better and better.
6. If you don’t got stuff to do, go to bed! You need sleep and waking up early can actually give you such a boost during the day
7. Listen to your gut feeling. You sometimes notice way more than your brain can even realize.
8. Write down quotes, lyrics or conversations that impressed, touched or inspired you. These few letters can, at some points of life, mean the world !
9. If you’re scared, just write, paint or whatever … be creative! Impress your feelings and a creative process can be as helpful as a therapy.
…Well I guess age is just a number, huh? Why didn’t we come up with something better than age to classify humans? Isn’t that just so “not - revealing / instructive” ?
idk why i wrote this but i helped so yeah. why not.
p.s. sorry for grammar mistakes, I’m working on it.
Lol I wrote this over a year ago. How come that I seemed so much more mature back then than I am now? Like seriously, point 4 is something I’m fucking struggeling with. I want my wisdom back :(
